Brixton Salon 2010-2011 In celebration of the Viewfinder Photography Gallery's move to Brixton and in the holiday spirit we are turning our gallery walls over to the people of Brixton to express its vibrant community. Brixton Salon 2010-2011 is an exhibition showcasing the energy of Brixton and its residents through the language of photography. Everyone is invited to submit a photograph capturing ideas about your community. All submissions will be exhibited and all participants are invited to a very festive opening reception! Exhibition dates: 21 December 2010 to 9 January 2011 Private view reception: Tuesday, 21 December, 6-8pm. Submission Information: The donation fee per submission is £15 (£10 concessions). Donation fee must be paid to register your interest in submitting artwork. The Viewfinder is a registered charity, and your donation fee helps to cover the costs of the exhibition. Registration deadline is 10 December 2010, artwork drop-off from18 to 20 Dec. All submissions will be accepted and exhibited. You are welcome to leave business cards/leaflets at the gallery. All participants will have a statement and images included in exhibition catalogue. Due to the amount of work to be exhibited we cannot accept framed photographs.
