Topolski Studio is an arts education charity undertaking a project in partnership with Reportager, University of the West of England, to train young people who are not in education, employment or training to report local issues and events through drawing.
About
Between the years of 1953 and 1982, Feliks Topolski published his Chronicles of the Century. Continuing his legacy, six young artists have been documenting and examining what Britishness means today through reportage drawing, looking at the shifting politics, people and landscapes of London.
The exhibition and hand printed chronicle will feature drawings from:
London Fashion Week
East End Regeneration
Pearly Kings and Queens Harvest Festival
Oktoberfest Millwall
Black History Month Lambeth
The Royal Vauxhall Tavern feat the LipSinkers
Camden Town
Deptford Pie & Mash
Greenwich Peninsula
Elephant and Castle
Billingsgate Fish Market
The Jungle Calais
Bonfire Night Lewes
Address: Topolski Studio, 158 Hungerford Bridge, Southbank Centre, Belvedere Road, London, SE1 8XX (The studio is located behind the safety barrier around the back of the restaurant Ping Pong).
