The event will showcase a mix of dynamic presentations, films and performances led by guest artists and commissioners. Held at the View Tube - a community building in Stratford, which was built using recycled shipping containers and with panoramic views over the Olympic Park - the evening will explore the impact public art can have in developing a sense of place and creating inspiring experiences for communities. Speakers and performers include: Gavin Turk, 2012 Olympic Park Artist in Residence Neville Gabie and Pope & Guthrie, Head of Art on the Underground Tamsin Dillon, Up Projects director Emma Underhill and Invisible Dust curator Alice Sharp.
