About

One of Benjamin Franklin's close friends was Joseph Banks, under whose early leadership Kew's Botanic Garden achieved international importance. This year Kew is celebrating its 250th Anniversary. Paul Smith, Director of Kew's Millennium Seed Bank, will show what has become of the mutual and transatlantic botanical passion shared by Franklin and Banks. A wine reception will be held after this event.
