In A Dancer’s Day, the choreographer Boris Charmatz intersects the day of a dancer, revealing their structures and routines: warmup, rehearsal, performance, rest, taking over the space and the dancefloor.
About
Visitors follow the dancers within the expansive airport hangar, and have the opportunity to rehearse sequences from Boris Charmatz’ new dance 10000 Gestures with the choreographer. All participants enjoy a meal together before a group slowly emerges from the collective to introduce a new movement ritual.Line-up: 4pm Warm-up with 25 Tänzern, 5pm Publikumsworkshop with Boris Charmatz, 5.30pm Picknick with (untitled) (2000) from Tino Sehgal, 6.30pm Common Sleep, 7pm Performance 10000 Gesten, 8pm Dancefloor, 9pm étrangler le temps with Boris Charmatz & Emmanuelle Huynh
