A celebration of the work of Blanc and Demilly; masters of French photography who have remained largely unknown. The work of the Lyon-based pair exists in unique vintage exhibition prints which were held in a family collection; a treasure-trove hidden away and recently broken up.
Rathbone is exhibiting a selection of these unique photographs for the first time in the UK; vintage silver gelatin prints including portraits, still lives and photo montages; seventeen works illustrating the breadth, consistency, quality and beauty of four decades of photography.
