For this special evening to benefit Roulette in our 40th year, legendary guitarist and composer Bill Frisell performs new work from his recently released album Music IS as well as classic compositions. This is Frisell’s only solo NYC performance since the album’s release. All proceeds from the concert go toward Roulette’s Future Fund.
The Future Fund—part reserve, part special project—comes after a wave of dramatic growth: since moving to Brooklyn in 2011, our shows, income, and operating budget have more than tripled. We’ve surpassed $1,000,000 in cumulative awards to artists, and Roulette reaches 1 million people weekly through our radio and television partnerships, all while maintaining the intimate, artist-focused space that is essential to who we are and what we do.
