London’s unique contemporary art gallery Banner Repeater celebrates 7 years of artistic experimentation.

About

Banner Repeater is celebrating 7 years of working with some of the most exciting contemporary artists today, on the train station platform at Hackney Downs, with an event kindly hosted by Somerset House Studios.

Banner Repeater are currently raising funds through Local Giving to directly support new commissions of works of art, as well as a series of public talks. Anyone who donates to the gallery’s fundraising initiative, from as little as £10, will be rewarded with entry to the party on 8 November, and a complimentary raffle ticket for the prize draw to be pulled on the night, with the chance of winning works by artists Jacolby Satterwhite (Electronic Superhighway, Whitechapel gallery), Jenna Sutela (Serpentine Marathon), Melanie Jackson (Matts Gallery), Zarina Muhammad (New Contemporaries), Anne de Boer (recent grad Goldsmiths) and more.

Entry to the party is by donation with a complimentary raffle ticket

The celebratory event will also include a live sound performance by artist Benedict Drew (recent Whitechapel solo exhibition), and artist DJ Chooc Ly Tan: Spacer Woman, on the decks.
