Germany’s biggest international open young artist award is a steppingstone for emerging artists from all over the world. At the award ceremony the winner of the five finalists, who exhibit their works at the special exhibition of BLOOOM Award from November 16 - 18, 2018, will be announced.
About
The artistic potential has no limitations at BLOOOM Award by WARSTEINER. It is looking for artists who knowingly work at the interfaces between art and creative industries, whose works blur boundaries of traditional forms of expression.
Since its beginning in 2010, BLOOOM Award by WARSTEINER emphasizes interdisciplinarity, power of innovation, courage and progressiveness. For the last edition, more than 3,200 artists applied from 90 countries. For the first time in 2017, a special prize for the category music video has been awarded.
The winner receives a one-year mentoring through a jury member and a travel to art fair. The second place enjoys a one-day mentoring. All five finalists get the chance to exhibit their works during the special exhibition of BLOOOM Award that counted 43,000 visitors last year. On-site they’re able to make valuable contacts with curators and galleries.
