About

The Architecture Foundation will once again partner with the Young Architect of the Year Award (YAYA), to celebrate the UK's most exciting emerging architectural practices.

With exhibition design by YAYA 2010 shortlist practice Moxton Architects the exhibition presents the longlist of this influential prize providing an exciting opportunity to engage with the next generation of built environment professionals.

A special focus will be paid to the six shortlisted practices, George Saumarez Smith of ADAM Architecture, Foster Lomas, IPT Architects, Jonathan Hendry Architects, RA Projects and RCKa to give the viewer a deeper insight into the personalities and working methods of these practices, offering a eye-opening and diverse array of approaches to architecture.

Plus don't miss your chance to judge the shortlist in person at the YAYA 2011: Presentations, the event chaired by Building Design editor Ellis Woodman will see the six young practices present their work to a public audience, 8 November, 7pm.
