An exhibition of limited edition prints taken from Liam Devereux's Nighttime Series.
About
Initially based on scenes from around North London where Liam has lived for the last ten years, The Nighttime Series has begun to spread further afield. This show includes two brand new pieces based on scenes from around London's iconic Barbican.
The prints have an obvious moody and perhaps haunting quality, but created in a style that is more synonymous with the British comic powerhouses such as DC Thompson. The printing itself mirrors this, with each limited edition printed in two colour halftone on a grainy manila card.
Liam is a commercial illustrator, originally from the north of England and now based in London. He has created work for American Express, Lloyds Bank and Audi among others, whilst developing a unique style in his spare time.
