We are visiting Denise Bryan during her exhibition Assembly at Central Space Gallery where she will be presenting The Mirror Hall and other Berlin stories.
About
Artist Denise Bryan will talk about the work that she made whilst carrying out a residency in Berlin which resulted in her returning in 2014 to create a site specific installation in the Pavillon am Milchhof.
In this talk, part performative lecture, the artist will give you an insight into the research and development process of a large scale project and the difficulties of creating work in a foreign country and how a residency can change your practice and lead to new works, In addition she will give you some insight into how the work has changed now that it has been re-sited in Central Space Gallery.
