Throughout October, November and December, the artist Foster Spragge
completed two walks around the perimeter of London as part of
a Tickbird&Rhino Drawing Dialogue collaboration.
The first of these walks was the London Loop, completed over 15 days;
the Capital Ring followed over 7 days. During each of these walks Foster
made a series of Walking Drawings,
continually responding at regular intervals
to location and orientation.
This viewing will be the first showing of the drawings made during these walks.
Also on show will be other Walking Drawings
that were made before and after this collaboration.
The drawings on view provide an insight into Foster's drawing practice
and the process used to explore ideas of place.
