Artist Graham Boyd will share his thoughts and perspectives from a long and prolific art career.
About
We are thrilled to be hosting a talk by exhibiting artist Graham Boyd who’s show, Volatile Creatures, runs throughout the summer in the Art + Design Gallery.
In the accompanying artist’s talk, Boyd will talk though his inspiration and share how his practice continues to grow in his ninth decade. He will discuss key moments in his career and their influence on his work.
A standout event was attending Triangle workshop in American in the 1980’s. leading to a shift from his ordered New Hampshire Grids from the 1970’s, his larger colourful paintings of the 1980’s leading up to present day works.
