Join artist Simeon Barclay and artist and writer Morgan Quaintance for a live conversation at the SLG. They will discuss Barclay’s current solo exhibition In the Name of the Father, along with the shared themes and ideas that run through both their practices.

About

Both Barclay and Quaintance work with moving image and are interested in themes such as British socio-cultural and political life, masculinity, identity and slang. They met in 2014 at Goldsmiths, where Quaintance taught Simeon Barclay during his MA and have since worked together on exhibitions including They Don’t Like It Up ‘Em, 2016 at Cubitt Gallery and Where Did It All Go Wrong in 2015, with Dam Projects.
