ArteLatAm program is a US and international program created to bring awareness to the Latino American Visual Artist community. It will provide an educational series focused on supplying practical and professional advice to Latin American Visual Artists in the US and abroad, giving them the opportunity for a one-on-one/group consultation with a range of Art professionals.
Our Kickoff Event is taking place Thursday, June 22, 6-9:30 pm. @Industry Cooperative Space.
Online tickets are $35 & at the door $50. Press will have access to the space beginning at 5 pm. All tickets include admission to a silent art auction, wine tasting thanks to Doen Zhumir and hors d'oeuvres provided by recognized group Tasting Ecuador/Chef Eduardo Villa. Music will be provided by our special guest DJ Chopps.
Participating Artists include Pablo Caviedes, Diego Anaya, Hermann Mejia and Carlos Torres-Machado. These contemporary artists each has a style of their own and will be on hand to share their work/stories with you that evening.
Proceeds from the event will go towards two recognized non-profit organizations: EICNYC.org and LULAC New York 23055 to help fund grants and educational programs, art workshops, conferences and panel discussions between New York art curators and the Emerging Latin American Visual Artists Community.
