On 22nd March 2017, Bahrain’s premier art fair, Art Bahrain Across Borders (ArtBAB 2017), presents an international quality exhibition of local and international artists, major galleries and a specially curated video exhibition, Floating World.
About
ArtBAB is an ambitious international art fair that aims to enhance Bahrain’s position as a regional arts hub, and stimulate investment and economic activity in this flourishing sector – at the centre of the fair will be the ArtBAB pavilion which will feature specifically-curated new and emerging Bahraini artists.
The first time the art fair took place was in 2015 under the Art Bahrain brand name, but in 2016 it was rebranded as Art Bahrain Across Boarders, underlining it's worldly ambitions and opening it's doors to a broader international public. This year's location also takes ArtBAB a step further moving to Bahrain International Exhibition & Convention Centre.
Although new to the Middle East’s art scene the organisers of ArtBAB believe it can cultivate a unique voice and identity in the region’s dynamic and growing art scene. ArtBAB is determined to become a major cultural venue and must-attend destination on the international art circuit.
