ReOrsa, the artist-led organisation based in Bracknell town centre which manages the Gallery@49 exhibition space on the corner of Crossway and Broadway are sponsoring a Christmas 'Art on Paper' exhibition and sale in a 'Pop-Up' gallery in Princess Square. à‚ The 'Pop-Up' gallery will use the vacant 'Just Cards' shop unit just inside the main doors of Princess Square, converting the space into a temporary gallery for artists from the region to show a range of work on paper. à‚ The art works will include traditional prints by Ros Ingham, a member of the 'Print at the Park' group at South Hill Park Arts Centre and Tonia Maddison printmaking tutor at Luckley Oarkfield School, original digital prints by Janet Curley Cannon, a digital printmaking tutor at South Hill Park, as well as drawings, collages, and paintings on paper by several artists from Bracknell, Ascot, Sandhurst, and Wokingham. All works will be for sale and priced under £50, mounted on card and wrapped in clear film. With several artists participating there will be a range of artistic styles, themes, and designs to choose from, like small intimate scenes of nature, colourful caricatures of animals, large floral abstracts, to an urban pattern or city landscape. The artists will be on hand to talk about their work and the techniques or materials used to create the variety of work. This is a great opportunity to buy original artwork from a local artist at affordable prices just in time for a very unique Christmas present.
