About
The Art Event Evening Award, a prize of Derwent art materials, will be presented to the (non-member) artist that produces the best piece on the night, as judged by Jeannette Hayes, President of The Pastel Society.
The event takes place in the context of the Society’s Annual Exhibition at Mall Galleries, which showcases over 250 contemporary works in dry media.
Participants should bring their own sketchbooks and art materials. Easels and boards will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis, therefore artists are encouraged to bring small, portable easels wherever possible.
