Light Therapy is a response to the lack of the light, during the winter time commonly associated with the northern hemisphere.
About
The official Light Therapy derives from psychiatric hospitals, where this treatment is used to fight Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD), milder winter blues and sleep disorders caused by jetlag and overwork, or lack of daylight. It is a therapy with no proven side effects, which everyone can use.
The Light Therapy room also comments on the contemporary art space of today, a space that not only functions as an exhibition space but also offer other activities. This will be the fourth iteration of "Light Therapy" for Šušteršič. The first was produced for the Moderna Museet in Stockholm in 1999.
