Using photography as a medium, Sun Chao conveys artistic messages of great strength, realism, tension, commitment and denunciation to the public. The A60 Contemporary Art Space in Florence presents the series of works "Farmers and Turkeys" made in 2023, in an exhibition titled "Apocalypse" . This exhibition not only reflects Sun Chao's projection of social reality in his works, but also the artist's deep self-reflection on the relationship between art and reality. As an artist engaged within the field of contemporary photography, Sun Chao creates highly expressive works that through the use of black and white even more so are also representative of the realization of his performances. He is never satisfied with the traditional expression of documentary images, and in his works he develops a conceptuality that is at times metaphysical and surreal and capable of recounting our complex everyday life. 

The works presented in the exhibition reflect the serious, rigorous and expressive commitment of a thoughtful artist capable of creating metaphors of reality. "Apocalypse" brings us Sun Chao's steps and feelings at this stage of his life.
