About

The Anyhow, Anywhere exhibition explores the transition from being a teenager to an adult, using iconic photographs from the past 6 decades and timelines that record momentous events in local and world history. The photographic exhibition comprises: an advertising image of teenagers in the 1940s; Ken Russell's remarkable documentary photographs of Teddy girls with attitude; Barry Lategan's Twiggy photos, which created the face of the 1960s; Daniel Meadows' travelling record of Britain in the 1970s; Beezer's record of the vibrant music scene in Bristol; Haroon Iltaf's concern with identity, gender and race; Huw Davies' exploration of being a young parent; and the most recent photos by young women photographers based at KWMC. For more information visit www.kwmc.org.uk. Group visits welcome, please call 0117 903 0444 in advance.
