Join artist duo, Wright & Vandame for a walking tour of galleries in east London. Participants will be encouraged to create their own work, and discuss ideas surrounding how the public engages with the gallery space and the blurring boundaries between originality and ownership.
About
The tour will begin at DACS and participants will have the chance to view the #AnotherGallery exhibition afterhours before visiting two more galleries located in the area. The tour will last last approximately one hour.
Places are limited and booking is essential. To book a space email rsvp@dacs.org.uk.
Please note there will be fair amount of walking so dress appropriately. There is also no need to bring any specialist equipment other than your own photography-enabled smartphone. We will not be able to take any responsibility for any loss or damage to any personal affects.
About Wright & Vandame
Josh Wright and Guillaume Vandame, collectively known as Wright & Vandame, live and work in London. Central to their practice, the artist duo explore the possibilities of collaboration and audience engagement through lively participatory art, performance, photography, video sculpture and installations. Their art is typified by irony, humour, and playfulness, as well as an earnest desire to create socially engaged and community-oriented projects to bring diverse individuals together.
