Annin Arts is pleased to present Ajarb Bernard Ategwa who will exhibit on Billboard 8171, 

London Bridge. Ategwa b.1988 in Kumba, Cameroon creates large scale paintings which capture the energy, movement and vibrancy of his hometown. Ategwa’s maximalist works are as much about the non-existence of colour as they are about it’s use. In Ategwa’s words ‘That’s why the space at the bottom is meant to be a pause, it’s a point on the canvas to rest your eyes a little’ 

Ategwa’s selected exhibitions include, ‘24 Hours Busy’ Jack Bell Gallery, London 2016, ‘Princesses de Nuit’ Jack Bell Gallery, London 2017, ‘Dialogue of Colours’ Espace Doual’art, Douala, Cameroon, 2018 and ‘The New Dialogue’ at Peres Projects, Berlin, 2018.
