AboutMy work is primarily images of flowers. I photograph what I find on the ground in parks and gardens or by the side of the road. I ask friends and the local florist to give me anything that would otherwise go in the bin and this way I never know what I will receive and how I might make an image to my liking. I am fascinated by the process of transformation the drying, curling, arching, fading and crisping. I see something of the portrait in them, a sense of movement and conversation.
