Kye Wilson’s new moving-image artwork Angel:legnA employs the motifs and working methods of celebrated film-maker Andrei Tarkovsky to explore collective human experience.
About
Interweaving Tarkovsky’s memories and dreams with those of participants, Wilson consciously reimagines notions of self in order to demonstrate how readily everyone can engage with and contribute to quality art.
Kye Wilson is a Creative Lab Associate to the New Theatre Royal Portsmouth.
Angel:legnA is supported by public funding from the National Lottery through Arts Council England and by Southampton Cultural Development Trust.
Kye Wilson is an award winning visual artist and film-maker who uses moving-image to create films, video art and installations, including multi-disciplinary, site-specific, and live artworks. His works have been performed, exhibited and screened nationally and internationally.
