Exploration of Yoruba Art forms: A Revisitation Abiodun Kafaru Avenue Gallery 23 June — 4 July Open daily 10am-4pm Exploration of Yoruba Art Forms: a Revisitation presents paintings, drawings and mixed media works by Abiodun Kafaru in support of his practice-based Phd. The work reflects on ideas concerning phenomenology and globalisation, drawing inspiration from the symbols, signs, patterns and motifs of the coastal Yoruba people of Nigeria and incorporating improvisation into the imagery, situating it within the context of global art forms.
