One Eyed Jacks is pleased to announce the launch of its sixth show, American Odyssey. Running for 8 weeks from the 24th January, this group show explores the poetics of everyday life in North America, with works from three photographers showing from five independent projects. The works reflect a growing trend that moves away from the city and suburban focused documentary tendencies of the 1990s. As the nation has become increasingly white collar, middle class and suburban, so the desire has increased to reflect on the rural, small-town, blue collar communities that might reflect an America of bygone days.
American Odyssey shows the work of Ari Gabel, Jack Latham and Thomas Gardiner.
