About
This December Dart Gallery is launching a solo show of wonderful new work by artist Amanda Hoskin. ‘Tranquillity’ will feature over 30 of Amanda’s accomplished paintings. Her much-loved work brilliantly captures the rugged yet tranquil beauty of the South Hams.
The culmination of a year of painting, for this collection Amanda has regularly walked the coastal path around Start Bay, choosing to capture her favourite moments as she journeys. There is a very good chance that your favourite spot from Dartmouth to Start Point will feature. Walking with her dog, Amanda sketches as she travels, completing her work back in her studio. This collection features delicate oils on paper alongside larger-scale canvases, full of energy. Any painting in the show will bring our very special location into your home.
‘Tranquillity’ launches on Saturday 2nd December.
