AboutPrivate view Thursday 17th of October 2013
at Dog Eared Gallery, 25-28 Field Street, WC1X9DA London.
The photos in this exhibition testify with signs, codes, expressions that tell us about our times and our society, also they are an exciting medium to catch/capture an energy, dancing bodies who lost themselves, in a kind of saturation. They are at once a photo coverage, a âportrait of a generation', as Nan Goldin or Wolgang Tillmans, and in the same time, and what might be called "elegiac symphonies" on the teen body, learning, free and instinctual.
This is to capture the present moment, a time of an evening, in a documentary and / or archival purposes. The photographers tend to show a part of the community they attend, their community. It is a kind of generational testimony.
