Opening Night Thursday April 7th, 8pm until 12am, Free Entry With live music from Mat Riviere + DJ set from Dan Tombs Katherine Mager is intrigued by the personal history of objects, their multiple owners and their movement through time. Her work strives to visualise the hidden influence and significance of the domestic items that surround us and our relationships with them. Her explorations thus far have led to her creating multiple exposures of objects, layering found imagery (magic lantern slides) and more recently projections of objects. This work exemplifies the transient nature of these commodities, by forcing the camera to capture the numerous possibilities of a single space or object.
