About
After Hours this April explores Human Experience – the stories we tell, the things we share and the conversations that shape who we are.
Enjoy vibrant and powerful live music from the African Choir of Norfolk in our Chapel and meet Portrait Artist of the Year 2020 winner, Curtis Holder, who’ll be creating live portraits in our ground floor galleries.
We’ll share short films from Flatpack, Digbeth’s own film festival pioneers. Tarla Patel will be discussing her father, Masterji’s life and work; a personal insight into the artist and our exhibition. Plus, the Human Library will host conversations with a person who has a story to tell – ask them the questions you’ve always been too afraid to ask.
Finally, we’ll be offering tours of our Folk Art collection with a wonderfully inclusive twist.
There will be delicious food, drinks and a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Turn up and switch on for a social experience designed for anyone who’s curious about what makes us human. See you there.
