ABC Projects Atelier is a two-day artist development workshop, designed to foster a deeper understanding of artists' motives, context and studio practice. Through peer critique it uses a bespoke process and methodology to facilitate critical analysis and support participants in making change.
About
TThe Atelier programme takes a holistic approach examining every aspect of an artist's practice and context . This intensive process of analysis and reflection has been developed by Matthew Burrows over the last ten years through ABC Projects. The success of ABC Projects has led to an increased demand to take part and has resulted in the launch of the Atelier programme.
ABC Projects is an artist-led initiative. It was established in 2008 as a kind of artists' boot camp, to support, create and maintain networks for mid-career and established artists. The process evolved from a highly experimental approach to peer critique and within an ethos of trust and creative generosity.
The ABC Projects Atelier is aimed at practicing artists with at least a BA (Hons) in Fine Art or an equivalent level of experience.
