About
With an instinctive passion for colour and pattern, Fiona McAlpine paints vibrant and decorative oils depicting flowers from her garden and the general chaos of her kitchen table set against the distinctive landscape of North Wales. Her expressive brush marks and an eye for detail celebrate a personal vision of the life she loves on the Welsh-Cheshire borders.
Fiona was born in 1961 and graduated with a BA in Fine Art Textiles from Goldsmiths in 1984. She has also designed textiles, hand paints her own wallpapers and has exhibited in many group shows.
