About
Daniel Chaves' subject is a research on "A real equality in society", using different technics, normally oil or soft colour pencils, which allows him to create a precise atmosphere and energy on his portraits.
Born in Seville, he's strongly linked to his roots, baroque, light, colour and symbolism. He considers art as a way to express his point of view about nowadays society, as a language that allows him to call for people's attention with portraits where there's always something else happening apart from the first impression.
