During Covid19 some of us have been looking at nature, in our back gardens small green spaces for refuge and comfort. As lockdown eases Hastings artists & members of Axisweb network have been collaborating online conversations, bringing our shared vision of nature together.
About
The arts process has been holistic, at home, some of us using natural materials;
from nearby hills and natural dyes for sunprinting. Painting with colors of ultrviolet, a bees vision of nature.
The theme of 'nature' is vital in these times when nature is so important to conserve. These willdflower meadows and natural verges for flora and fauna to grow are important for pollinators and important species feeding on these wildflowers, contributing to an integral part of our food chain.
Our Vacant Space residency, ' nature a shared vision' is a collaborative project and process bringing together artworks in an empty shop space in the heart of Hastings Shopping Centre, Priory Meadow: creating dialogue and public engagement as lock down slowly eases.
