About
A Tale of Two Barmaids is a Tale of Two Cities. Maria Luttikhuis from Utrecht and Valeria Nicolucci from Rome. They met as most young people do in London: sharing a flat. Now they both work as barmaids at Vout-O-Reenees. In a Brexit-future this probably could not have happened. Now, their exhibition is a beautiful and thought provoking reflection of their city: London.
As artists, they seem an unlikely pairing; one a modern visual and performance artist and the other a ceramicist with Japanese leanings. Two artists, who differ so much in style, complement each other very well in their exhibition at The Stash Gallery at Vout-O-Reenees. The PV night is also proud to be the publishing party for Dear Diary Maria Luttikhuis’ brilliant, small book. A limited signed edition of only 150 copies will be available.
