Solo exhibition exploring my own environment and what we mean when we say we 'belong' to a place.
About
A sense of belonging is psychologically necessary for a healthy and happy life. We can list what we think the word 'belonging' means such as, family, community, ownership and so on, but, far harder to find the essence of the meaning. Belonging seems temporal, it suggests we are held together in a moment, in a time and in a place - of being in a particular environment. This exhibition is the documentation of Teresa's existence in place and time over the last year and is therefore, autobiographical. It is her attempt at exploring her own sense of belonging.
