An exhibition of truly original art inspired by London.

About

This September, five of London’s most dynamic artists are taking over gallery@Oxo, situated in the heart of the South Bank. Urban Soup presents A River Runs Through It, an art exhibition exploring London’s vibrant personality and ever-changing landscape through its colours, shapes and unique perspectives.

This exhibition showcases the breathtaking artworks of Urban Soup, a group of artists living in our city, bound by their love of the metropolis. Each artist offers their own distinctive interpretation of the city’s evolving environment using a variety of unusual mediums and materials in their work including:

Dazzling light installations; delicate paper sculptures; intricate cityscapes drawn with a biro; wafer-thin aluminium prints; reclaimed 1930’s windows, ultra-vivid HDR photographs; stunningly colourful acrylic cityscapes

, the finest impressionist oil paintings, and interactive art. Plus a fantastic selection of affordable prints to collect.

This year’s artists include LoveJordan, the much sought-after duo who caused quite a stir with their recent sell-out show at the prestigious Woolff Gallery in Fitzrovia; Sarah Fosse whose art has appeared in The Wall Street Journal, Vogue, and on the BBC; Michael Wallner, a former television producer who has exhibited world-wide including New York, Singapore, and Milan; Tom Cox, an exciting young artist tipped as ‘one to watch’ by the Evening Standard; and Munleen Sibia, a former county tennis player whose work has been featured in Vogue’s ‘World of Interiors’ and by Time Out.

A River Runs Through It (ARRTI) is proud to be part of the Totally Thames festival.
