This group exhibition will showcase work by the emerging artists that Son Gallery has chosen to support. In a world defined by cultural reproductions, artistic explorations of lens- based media — the very catalysts of our cultural networks — are vital. Our artists, rather than consenting to the spectacle, address its subtleties; revealing the workings of a complex and multi-layered reality. Traditional artistic rhetoric and genre, such as documentary, fashion, landscape, abstraction and realism, are re-imagined in the light of contemporary society.
