Original paintings from the book 'A Love Letter to Myself' will be shown along with readings from the book. From obsession and addiction towards an idea of self-love, the exhibition allows the viewer to navigate the journey from within, raising questions about what self-love might actually mean.

About

The book A Love Letter to Myself is as much an art object as it is a book. It is a visual and spiritual journey in paint and words.

In its creation, it was a space for personal awakening, change and transformation that became a space for others in to reflect, question and connect with something new in themselves too. As with all Nabarro's work, A Love Letter to Myself is a space for connection within and between us.

In this exhibition, the original images can be seen with the book, recreating the original psychological space within the gallery as if to allow the viewer to navigate the book from within.

Nabarro's work has moved between abstraction and figuration, creating a space in which she, as well as the viewer, may discover more about who, or what, we are - emotionally, psychologically, spiritually, and physically. In the process, she posits the question - where can, or do, the universal and personal meet?
