About
VWith 8000 professional artists Berlin still claims a status of a “melting pot” for art and creativity. But over and over again the voices and positions stayunnoticed. Only 10% of artists enjoy the benefits of being represented by agallery. Considering the gender bias, the situation for the emerging female artists is extremely dire. Just last week, Michael Findlay warned that NY’s become too toxic for the new art to emerge. Berlin slowly, but steadily falls into the same trap.
Ryan Mendoza, an internationally renowned artist from New York, with regular shows at Lelong Gallery, White Cube, and Fabia Mendoza, winnerof 18th Beverly Hills Film Festival for her film ‘The White House‘, will get together with the emerging artist Anna Nezhnaya in an attempt to challenge the status quo.
