Five years after Sophie Cero's A HOME STORE opened at Geddes Gallery London, all the goods have found their way safely back to their original home. With special guest work by Julia Maddison.
About
A Home Store opened for two days only as part of 'I'm Ready for you Darling' at Geddes Gallery November 28/29th 2015. Products not for sale included a year of 'the smell of home' and assorted packets of variable domestic detritus in states of decay. Five years on, the decay continues. Now safely contained, the products have returned to their generative place to complete their cycle of life before continuing on to the next level. Work by special guest and original curator of 'I'm Ready for your Darling', Julia Maddison will invite the outside gaze to enter into this new space of domestic decay.
