About

2019 will be a landmark year for Bluecoat Display Centre when we celebrate 60 years since our opening. To mark the occasion we have curated a special exhibition to start the year with a bang which will celebrate our history and the mutually supportive relationships we have developed over our 60 years with the makers we promote and sell on behalf of.

The exhibition will feature 60 works by 60 invited makers, each with a retail price of £60. Our aim is to make a price accessible, and celebratory, start to our year of exhibitions and events with this one aimed at encouraging younger contemporary craft collectors.

Makers include Julie Arkell, Molly Attrill, Lanty Ball, Ruth Ball, Sue Binns, Tracey Birchwood, Michael Brennand-Wood, Judith Brown, Kirsti Hannah Brown, Maike Browning, Shimara Carlow, Shona Carnegie, Jane Charles, John Galloway, Louise Gardiner, Nawal Gebreel, Robert Goldsmith, Caroline Gregson, Kath Grimes, Dennis Hales, Neil Hardy, Catherine Hills, Michelle Holmes, Deborah Hopson-Wolpe, Rachael Howard, Anna Howarth, Catrin Howell, Linda Jeanne Jones, David Rhys Jones, Walter Keeler, Chris Keenan, Christy Keeney, Gail Klevan, Perry Lancaster, Rebecca Lawley, Julia MacGregor, Hugh Miller, Kate Moult, Trisha Needham, Mari-Ruth Oda, Attila Olah, Alan Phillips, Verity Pulford, Emma Rodgers, Duncan Ross, Vivienne Ross, Teresa Samson, Nikolay Sardamov, Jacqueline Scholes, Simon Shaw, Adele Taylor, Sally-Ann Thompson, Meryl Till, Melanie Tomlinson, Christine Toh, Mark Veevers, DeeLyn Walsh, Alan Whittaker, Richard Windley and Elizabeth Willow.
