ABOUT 5D FUTURES

5D FUTURES is a video art portal and pavilion for The Wrong Biennale nº5 curated by Collagism. It is a journey through the Elevation of Consciousness, bringing together a selection of poignant video works from highly celebrated video artists around the world. The works navigate through the world of performance art into the digital realm of glitched hybrid realities, documentary film and How to guides.

Highlights include the controversial film by Antonio Trimani of Marina Abramovic’s SPIRIT COOKING 1997 performance in Italy, David Henry Nobody Jr’s Mushroom Man and Marjan Moghaddam’s fantastic virtual worlds populated by her signature digital bodies. Artist Yali Romagoza Meditates her way out of capitalism, whilst The Fandangoe Kid and Tara Darby present dance rituals as a way to navigate through death and grief. We enter Jana Astanov’s Polish Madonna Aquarian Portal for a channeled astrological forecast and join Collagism as she presents meditation guides for those with a sense of humour and aesthetic discernment.

5D FUTURES questions and provokes, and offers a flow of solutions. It's anti-establishment, ritualistic, truth seeking, meditative, subversive, chakra believing, made of neon colour explosions; it's a new paradigm, a wellness revolution, it’s long slow deep breathing, imagined temples of healing, bold open hearts, soul stirring, intuitive minds, embodied bodies, ones to watch, it's about cellular beauty, Shakti power, transformations, self-sensory systems, introspection, uncensored ideology, futurism, we are the alchemists of change, poetry in motion, co-conspirators of joy.

The future was now and as beautiful as we created it.

A program of virtual events will run during the Biennale, check 5dfutures.com for details.
