The Waiting Room. formally invites you to a private view of Dimension(s) Variable before its official opening on 24th April 2015. After the roaring success of The Unknown & Unseen, 84 Hatton Garden will once again host a second pop-up exhibition by emerging curators Benjamin Copping and Wilhemina Madeley.
About
Dimension(s) Variable focuses on the explosion and prominence of the internet and the advancement of affordable consumer tech. Over the last decade this has vastly re-shaped the conditions in which we communicate globally. Imagery has never been easier to manipulate, content never easier to create and to the average person, visibility to a wider community has never been easier to achieve.
The exhibition features twelve London-based artists who each critically engage with and explore how ubiquitous digital technologies have affected our daily interaction and communication whilst simultaneously exploring new avenues and mediums with which to articulate their responses to a world where the boundaries between the physical and the virtual are becoming increasingly blurred.
