So we opened a gallery last week. Last Monday we had no idea it was going to happen. On Wednesday we agreed it all and on Wednesday evening at 8pm we put the word out that we had 22 hours to pull a show together and open a space. On Thursday at 3pm we got the keys and cleared the gallery of all the beds and things, at 6pm we were open for First Thursday and a night of art, music, naked red men, bands on trucks and lots more (the band on the truck and the naked red men were really nothing to do with us! We keep getting the blame though). We're certainly not going to have many weeks like that one! Now for the calm after the storm.... This week we open 'properly'- We've named the place, we're cleaning it up a little and we open a show this Thursday that will include some of the art from last week along with some new pieces. Come down and see our new space, we're right in the middle of Vyner Street. And of course with it being Vyner Street, there's lots of other galleries around to explore... There's a few having events and openings this Thursday evening.
