An exhibition of painting and turned objects celebrating woodland and trees.

About

Martin Fidler is an established exhibitor at 54 The Gallery and has shown his paintings around the world over many years. His work witnesses the natural world through wilderness, countryside and urban landscapes and helps us see its richness of colour, light and form. In this exhibition he is focussing on forests, woodland and their trees.

He is exhibiting for the first time with Tim Chesters, a maker and wood turner, who creates vessels and objects which stay true to the original wood, creating a fusion of the functional and natural.

The exhibition is taking place in these unusual times when seeing and appreciating the natural world is perhaps more important than ever. Visitors will be expected to follow prevailing government guidelines.
