1001 Nights at RareKind

The hugely successful, Bristol based Studio Amour's screen-printed, textile graffiti art exhibition, has been invited on a second leg of the show at the RareKind Gallery, London. In a world dominated by digital, computerised design and production, ‘1001 Nights' showcases the skill and beauty of centuries old traditional fabric printing methods, juxtaposed with the relatively new and sharper-edged art of graffiti. ‘1001 Nights' perfectly demonstrates the dedication, physical input and love poured into both traditional printing and graffiti art with an exhibition of beautiful artworks, prints, hanging fabric room dividers and one off velvet and silk cushions. Featuring exclusive artwork by some huge names in global graffiti, Ponk and Amour collaborate on silks, velvet, moleskin and other textiles, the show also includes stunning fabric one off prints by Nylon, Pref, Fary, Kid Acne, Elph, Dibo, Dora, Paris & Solo One. The show is on for a limited time from Thursday 11th June — Sunday 28th June 09 Private view — Thursday 11th June RSVP bex@rarekind.co.uk
