CUVO Festival 2023 Open Call
Updated: 21 June 2022
Are we in ecstasy or anesthetized?
Until September 30th the International Videoart Festival CUVO launches a new open call for his seventh edition titled “[An]Ecstasy”. This year we want to ponder about the abscence of pain in what philosopher Byung-Chul Han has called paliative societies.
We are open to any creation regardless of format, technique or genre. We'll select eight of the most groundbreaking works of the current videoart practice. The finalists will shape the usual travelling exhibition of the festival along 2023, across places like The Museum Francisco Sobrino in Guadalajara or the Experimental Space Art Room in Madrid.
Eligibility: Video artists. No age or specific nationality required.
What you get: 75 € for each exhibition place.
